Kimi Sagara

Kimi was born in Pueblo, CO to Hirosuke and Mume Morimoto. She had three brothers, the late Kay Morimoto, the late Sam Morimoto and Tom Morimoto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hideo Sagara. She was mother to Donna (Steve) Howell and Steve (Denise) Sagara; grandmother to Deidre (Jason) Troxell; Cinnamon (Michael) Chu; Darci Sagara; Jon (Kelly) Sagara, and great-grandmother to Jessica Vorhis, Alicia and Justin Chu, Quincy Troxell and Troy, Trent and Brady Sagara. Kimi met her future husband, Hideo, at a dance in Pueblo. They married and moved to the Capay/Esparto area in 1945. She worked very hard during the early years of her marriage to help the family in their farming operation. Kimi's hobbies included knitting, sewing and cooking. She enjoyed working in her garden, oil painting and taking care of her grandchildren and pets. She will be remembered by her kindness and willingness to help others.A small family memorial service will be held.
