Barbara Ann Binney

Barbara Ann (Countryman) Binney BOYNTON BEACH FLA. - Barbara Ann (Countryman) Binney born March 24, 1931 in Accord, died Aug. 1, 2014, peacefully at home after a long illness. She resided in Boynton Beach Fla. for the last 20 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, James M. Binney. Also surviving a daughter Sue Herwig and husband Ed, a son Jay M Binney and wife Brenda, and a son James (Doak) Binney and wife Betty. Also surviving grandchildren Douglas and Leslie Herwig, Jennifer, Jay Jr (LJ), and Justin Binney, Ian and Logan Binney. Also great granddaughter Hailee Binney. Barbara is also survived by sisters Betty Roxby and Carol DiVita, brothers Floyd, Richard and Ronald Countryman. Barbara was an avid reader. Most of all she was a great wife and mother who loved her family and friends. She greatly enjoyed helping her son, Jay cater for Mr Big Bellys in Kingston. She and her husband managed Bob Steeles motel for many years and also enjoyed working for Bob Carlzon at State Farm insurance. Barbara and Jim were the original owners of the Grand Slam bar and restaurant. She will be cremated by Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral home and buried in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth Florida.
