Frank Jurkowski Obituary

Frank Jurkowski LIVINGSTON- Frank Jurkowski, 78, of Livingston, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Vassar Brothers' Hospital of Poughkeepsie. Born Nov. 15, 1933 in Bachow, Poland, he was the son of the late Stanley and Sofia Jurkowski. Before he had been employed for more than 30 years as a Quality Inspector with General Motors in Tarrytown. Mr. Jurkowski was a member of the Church of the Resurrection of Germantown. Apart from a peaceful retirement he enjoyed farming and tending to his vineyard. Survivors include his wife, Mary Skowron Jurkowski; three sons, Steven (Meghan) Jurkowski of Somerville, Mass., Stanley (Jolanta) of Poland, and Raymond (Laurel) of Livingston ; and three grandchildren, Daniel, Olenka, and Adam. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown. Funeral services will be Monday 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home and 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection of Germantown where a Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in the Nativity Church Cemetery of Linlithgo. Condolences may be expressed at www.ya dackfox.com
