George E. Vizvary

CLIFTON PARK....George E. Vizvary, 87, of Clifton Park, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was born in Ã?jpest, Hungary on April 14, 1936 to the late Imre and Ilona Vizvary. He was the loving husband of Jean Vizvary for 32 years of marriage; father of four daughters, Dora Swan (Peter Kenyon) of Malta, Judith Iapoce of Eastham, MA, Patricia Vizvary (Nikolas Kindervater) of Altamont and Erika Thompson (Christopher) of Clifton Park; caring grandfather of Kelly, Ryan, John, Samuel, Maggie, Blair, Colin, Lukas and Leo; great grandfather of Ava, Alexander, Poppy, Daisy, Emilyn and Liam. His Visitation will be at Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home (45 John Street, Saugerties, NY 12477) on Wednesday June 14th, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. On Thursday June 15th, 2023 memorial services will be held at The Mount Academy Chapel (1001 Broadway, Esopus, NY 12429) at 11am followed by a reception in The Mount Academy Community Center. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a National Scholarship Program for college bound high school seniors who played soccer in high school.
