Geraldine K. Fall GARDINER- Geraldine K. Fall, age 93, of Gardiner, passed away peacefully at home. She joined her husband, Richard R. Fall, and son Richard A. Fall Sr., in heaven on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014. Born on Sept. 15, 1920, in Gardiner, she was the daughter of Arthur and Suestia (Kittner) McCord. She married Richard R. Fall on Sept. 20, 1941, at The Reformed Church of Gardiner. Richard passed away on Dec. 17, 1999. Gerry graduated from New Paltz High School and completed secretarial school. She worked for the family business, Fall Fittings, as a bookkeeper for 45 years. Service to the community was very important to Gerry. She was a founding member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of New Paltz. She was a very active member of the Reformed Church of New Paltz, sang in their choir for 40 years and served on consistory. Her hobbies included sewing, reading and golfing, but most of all she relished times spent with her husband, children, family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time travelling with her husband to such places as Hawaii, various Pacific Islands, the British Isles, New Zealand and Australia. She particularly enjoyed their time in Panama, where they spent most of their first few years of marriage. She cherished the memories and friendships they made on those trips. Her zest for life will long be remembered by those who knew her. Surviving are two children and their families and a sister. A son, James Fall; a daughter, Ann Zaccheo-Phillips and her husband Glenn Phillips; her sister, Pearl Moshinski of St. Johnsville, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Joan Fall, Rick Fall, Theresa Fall, Rob Zaccheo Jr and his wife Jenn Bruck, and Jen Lafalce and her husband Zach; her step-grandchildren, Nicole Palmer and her husband Joe, Jeremy Phillips and Michelle Phillips; her great-grandchildren, Frances Schembri, Atticus Fall-Schembri, and Cameron Lafalce; her step-great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Jordan Palmer and Arianna Phillips; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at The Reformed Church of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot St., New Paltz, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Reformed Church of New Paltz.
