ROSENDALE-Heather Marie Cole, 37, on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 we lost our beautiful and beloved daughter and sister suddenly and unexpectedly. It is a tragic loss as we loved her dearly. Our daughter Heather was a free spirit and followed her own tune. In her youth she enjoyed her time with the Rosendale Swim Team, Rondout Valley Softball, St. Peters CYO Basketball, and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 1219. Heather graduated from Rondout Valley High School Class of 2002. She then started a career in home health with Anytime Home Care. Her loving and caring ways made this the perfect job for her. She was a good samaritan to everyone. In the summer of 2016 Heather had her miracle baby Cassandra Raine, and for the past 4 ½ years has known nothing but pure joy with her. Throughout her short life she cultivated many lifelong friends both near and far, who are wrapping their arms around our family at this difficult time. We sincerely thank you all. Heather never met a stranger, and our lives became fuller for this. We want everyone to know we are thinking of you also. Sadly, she leaves behind her beloved daughter Cassandra Raine Cole, “Brother’s” Andrew J Cole, Brian P. Cole, parents Kevin and Janice Mulligan Cole, Aunt Jo Anne Mulligan Krom, Uncle Jim and Aunt Dona Mulligan, Uncle John and Aunt Nikki Mulligan, Aunt Connie Creeden Muller, and Aunt Carol Bower. Along with many cousins and other relatives. Pre-deceased by: grandparents Eugene and Harriet Mulligan, Hatch VanKleeck, Charles J. Cole and Madeline (Dee) Cole, Uncles Donny Krom and Ronny Cole. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday February 10 at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale from 3 to 7 p.m. American Legion Post 1219 Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a ritual at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Janice, Pop, Andrew your in my thoughts and prayers, I cant imagine what your going through. Im so sorry for your loss. Im so sorry for Cassandra. I will forever hold the memory of her. Heather was my very good friend. My longest friend. We could pick up right where we left off even years later. I miss her. I miss stopping in for cookies, I miss watching her fight with Andrew. Its funny you only make friends like Heather once in a lifetime. For us we lived enough adventures to last a lifetime. She never left a scene without making a new friend. We were wild young and free! I am truly sorry for your loss. Love and Prayers

Dear Janice, Kevin and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of this beloved young woman. It is clear that she had a heart for others. Those remaining will grieve the loss of her presence in their lives, but will be sustained by the many memories they have of her impact on them. Please know my heart grieves with you, and I pray for comfort for you in the difficult days ahead.
