Brenda and family, I met Jimmmy on his first day on the job as an assessor. I have considered him a friend ever since. Many a day Jimmy and I spent riding the town of Ulster as he reassessed properties. He was always ahead of the assessing game, saving Ulster millions in assessment challenges. Every taxpayer we met, he was always more than gracious explaining what we were doing. He left us too early, and I will miss him greatly

My Uncle Jim was there for me my entire 49 years to date. I cannot say how hurt I am yet knowing his commitment to the community was so well respected. Thank you all for the kind comments. In his honor for every year forward the Shriners will receive 2 of my season tickets to a Notre Dame game to be auctioned in my Uncles honor !

To the family and loved ones of Jim. Please know that although I am not a family or loved one, I miss this man already. You had a treasure in being close to him. He helped so many in ways that there is no record of. I learned of his passing today, Friday the 12th of July while looking through the paper at the dentist office. It took me by surprise, I feel so sorry for those that are going on without him. My prayers are with all.
Rest In Peace, Jim Maloney, Rest In Peace.
