James D. Price LANCASTER, PA.- James D. Price, 55, of Marietta Ave. died suddenly Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his residence. Born Aug. 22, 1958 in Kingston, he was the eldest child of Harold and Veronica Igoe Price. James lived half of his lifetime here in Ulster County. His elementary school years were spent at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Rosendale. He continued his Catholic education at John A. Coleman High School in Hurley. It was during this time that Jim developed his love for sports, his favorite being Cross Country, under the direction of Coach Joe Keller. He was proud to be named team captain his Senior Year. James continued his love for this sport throughout his life. He attended Marist College and was employed at the Benedictine Hospital. He also worked as a salesman and route rider for his parents business, Goodwill Industrial Uniform Service. In 1985 he moved to Pennsylvania. He worked several different jobs until he made his lifetime career choice, Real Estate. He became a top sales agent in Lancaster County. He remained in real estate until his untimely death. Jim is survived by his parents and five siblings: Rebecca Fitzgerald of N.J., Theresa Hoffman of Saugerties, Thomas of N.C., Christopher of Kingston and Gerald Price of Saugerties. Now James has come home to Rest in Peace with his beloved grandmother, Theresa Igoe and his many other aunts and uncles. His Funeral Procession will form 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John and Lafayette St. Thence to St. Mary of the Snow Roman Catholic Church where at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
