Jennifer Lynn Connolly SAUGERTIES- Jennifer Lynn Connolly, 20, of W. Saugerties Rd. died Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Brigham Women’s Hospital, Boston after a courageous battle with cancer. Jennifer became an inspiration to many people and was loved by her Doctors and Nurses in the Benedictine and Boston Hospitals. Cancer may have taken her life far too soon, but in this battle she was the winner. She left us all laughing, smiling, comfortable, and in peace. Born Nov. 3, 1993 in Kingston she was the daughter of John and Mary Pilz Connolly. She was a graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 2011 and Ulster County Community College in 2013. She was active in the Saugerties Athletic Association playing basketball, softball and soccer. Besides her parents survivors include one Brother: Christopher M. of Saugerties. Her Maternal Grandparents: Joseph and Ethel Pilz and her Paternal Grandparents: John Connolly and Dorothy Calderon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. A prayer service will be held 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Benedictine Hospital Gruner Fund, Mary’s Ave., Kingston.
