Mary Frances,
I just learned of this sad news. I've had the pleasure of being friends with your Dad from working with him at IBM since 1980. I have very fond memories of he and your Mom. When our children were young they invited us to the church picnic at Forsythe Park on Labor day weekend. We attended the picnic many years after that.
I believe I must have seen your Dad the spring before he passed. I stopped by the house and we had a nice visit. I will forever cherish that last time I spent with him.
He was painting the porch steps, but Mary Frances was not to know or she would scold him. He always spoke highly and lovingly of you.
All of us who knew John will miss him. God bless you...

Mary Frances,
Having been out of town this weekend, I only found out today of your Dads passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I am also extremely happy that I had the chance to spend some time with him back in March (my Moms dinner), of course with your help suggesting that he attend!
Although the pain of loss is strong at first, I look forward to someday seeing your Dad, Mom, Grandmother ("Little Mary"), my Grandmother, Aunt Gert, and all of our family members who have passed before us. It should be one heck of a party!
My thoughts and prayers of course are with you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you in the coming weeks.

Our family's deepest sympathy on John's passing. He and our dad, Ben, were friends a long time, starting with the Catholic War Veterans. For the past 3 yrs he visited Dad every Sunday at Golden Hill giving him communion and just talking to him. The last time we saw John he said he was having medical problems - Dad died last month and we are sure they are meeting again. Our condolences, The Gulnick Family

I've known John for fifty six years. He and Mary Ellen were wonderful to my late mother for many years. If anyone deserves to be with God for eternity it is he. May the Good Lord help Mary Francis and his special friends in this time of sorrow.
