Joshua M. Szajkowski NEW PALTZ- It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua M. Szajkowski, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at home. He was 27 years old. Born on April 25, 1987, in Rhinebeck, he was the son of Raymond F. and Alicia Hoste Szajkowsi. Joshua was a graduate of New Paltz High School, Class of 2005. At the time of his passing, Joshua was employed by Wildlife Busters, Gardiner. Joshua’s love of the outdoors led him to join the National Audubon Society. He was a member of local hiking clubs, an avid outdoorsman and nature enthusiast. Josh was also a motorcycle enthusiast, he often said, “I’m better on two wheels than my own two feet!” Surviving are his mother, Alicia M. Szajkowski; two sisters, Laura Szajkowski and Claire Szajkowski; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. We invite the family, relatives and friends to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the family home, at 26 Gibbons Lane, New Paltz, N.Y., 12561. Donations may be made to Mohonk Preserve, P.O. Box 715, New Paltz, N.Y., 12561.
