Louis Fleck TOWN OF ULSTER- Louis Fleck, 85, of Pine Place, Town of Ulster, died Friday evening, Feb. 10, 2017 at home. Born Dec. 12, 1931 in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Raymond A. and Dorothy (Canavan) Fleck. A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Fleck served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by New York Telephone / Verizon for many years, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a Third Degree in Kingston Council, 275 Knights of Columbus and an adorer of the Devine Mercy Perpetual Adoration Chapel on Delaware Avenue. Surviving is his wife, Joan M. (Michel) Fleck; his children and grandchildren, Karen Antion and Elizabeth Citino, Donna and Gary Ennis and their children, Christopher, Kyle and Sean, Gerard Fleck and his children Christi Wills and Tayler Fleck, Margaret Fleck and Paul O’Flaherty and their children Ryan, Brenden and Kaitylyn, Edward and Enice Fleck and their children, Laura, Heather, Amy and Harry, Anissa, Jimmy, Brett and Chase; his son-in-law, Ricardo Cottrell; and his brothers and sisters, Barbara Hirshfield, Raymond Fleck, Richard Fleck, Kenneth Fleck, George Fleck, Dolores Fleck, James Fleck, Walter Fleck, Leonard Fleck and Judith Geary. Mr. Fleck’s daughter, Kathy Cottrell and his brother Thomas Fleck both died previously. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Church, 242 Wall Street Kingston, N.Y., 12401. Burial will follow with military honors in the Ulster County Veteran Section of the New Paltz Rural Cemetery, 81 Plains Road, New Paltz, N.Y., 12561.
