Normand “Norm” Ducas SAUGERTIES- Normand “Norm” Ducas, 33, of Rte. 212, died Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 21, 1984 in Kingston he is the son of David Ducas and Helena Kellerhouse. A lifetime area resident he attended Saugerties High School and was employed as a desk clerk at Howard Johnson’s in Saugerties. Norm loved electronics, music and helping people. He could rebuild and fix most computer glitches that were presented to him. Besides his parents survivors include his fiancée, Crystal Novotny; one daughter, Paige Ducas; his siblings: Will Ducas, Helen Guttman, Don, Julia and Donna Whipple; his paternal grandfather, Normand Ducas and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Kellerhouse, all of Saugerties. His Funeral Procession will form 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Corner of John and Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church where at 11 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery.
