Philip Corzine, 74, of Karnak, passed away at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Philip was born April 21, 1949, in Karnak, Illinois.
He attended Century High School in Ullin. Philip and Vanita Rader Corzine were united in marriage on Dec. 15, 1978. Philip was a past member of the Grand Chain Masonic Lodge AF & AM. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed horseback riding, target shooting and spending time with his family. He loved his dog, Drake. He was co-owner in Corzine's Feed Mill in Karnak for many years. Philip had worked at the Vulcan Quarry in Cypress for years and later retired from Lafarge Incorporated near Grand Chain.
Philip is survived by his wife, Vanita Corzine; three daughters, Crystal (Tim) West of Karnak, Tonya (Tim) Wiseman of Metropolis and Kala Corzine (fiancé, Kegan Hale) of Karnak; his mother, Velma Henry Corzine of Karnak; grandchildren, Ronnie Corzine of Karnak, Destiny West of Paducah, Teri Duey of Karnak, Amanda Morse (Jason) of Metropolis, Montana Wiseman (fiancée, Tierra Brasher) of Metropolis; great-grandchildren, Angel, Nevaeh, TJ and Sara Duey, Jaxson Howard, and Vae'lyn Lyle, Dixie Morse, Kolten Long, Aaron Morse, and EmmaLee Morse; and niece, Melina Corzine of Metropolis.
Philip was preceded in death by his son, Austin Corzine (2002); his father, Carl (Ted) Corzine; brother, Ronnie Carl Corzine; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Van Austin and Rita Robert Rader.
Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Philip Corzine were held at Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Pastor Mike Sharp officiated.. Interment followed at the Anderson Cemetery near Boaz.
Pallbearers were Tim West, Tim Wiseman, Ronnie Corzine, Montana Wiseman, Kegan Hale and Jamie Short.
