SAUGERTIES- Samantha C. Kiernan, 47, of Finger Rd. died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on Dec. 13, 1973 in Kingston the daughter of Kathryn and the late James Kiernan. An area resident for many years Samantha was employed as a home health aide for Unlimited Care in Kingston. Samantha loved her family and enjoyed scenic drives for hours throughout the mountains of our area. Besides her mother of New Mexico, survivors include two daughters: Taylor Mentessi of Lake Katrine and Halle Kiernan of Saugerties; three sisters: Kathryn Lane of Saugerties, Johanna Kiernan of New Paltz, and Carrie Miggins of Ruby; two brothers: James of Tennessee, and Timothy, USMC, Camp LeJunne; two cousins: Jacqueline Gilbert and James Blatz; and a grandson. Her Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
