Anita M. Ferraro

Anita M. Ferraro, 91, of Rotterdam, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Ellis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Schenectady.Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Paulina (Zampa) Ceppaloti.She was employed as a nurse's aide at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.Anita was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Schenectady.She enjoyed gardening. Anita had a deep love for her family and grandchildren. She was always happy and generous in helping people in need.Anita was predeceased by her husband, Edmondo A. Ferraro, whom she married February 8, 1948; and one son, Bruno Ferraro; as well as one son-in-law, Christopher Adams.She is survived by two loving daughters, Vera L. Apostol (Paul) of Ballston Lake and Loredana Adams of Burnt Hills. Anita is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Funeral Services for Anita will be Tuesday at 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady.
