Bud graduated from officer candidate class OC509-68. He endured, with grace, perhaps the best leadership training that was available in the United States Army, if not the best available anywhere. He then served our nation with pride, during one of the most trying times our country has endured. I was proud to graduate with Bud, and considered him a Brother.

To Carole and the whole family - as neighbors, we fondly remember being included in many parties, dinners and festive occasions. Budd was always such a welcoming host. We shared many discussions sitting on our porches and at tables over a meal. Budd was a man of deep convictions and possessed keen insight. You always knew where you stood with him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a strong moral compass. We were blessed to have called Budd a friend for so many years. Our hearts of full of sadness at his passing. We hope that the strength of your memories and the support of your family and friends will help you during this very difficult time. May his memory be for a blessing. With much love, Rosy and Neil
