Cecilia Dean Obituary
Family-Placed Obituary
DEAN, Cecilia Age 93, passed away Saturday July 22, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 24, 1913 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Dr. Allan L. Richardson and Ruth (McNamara) Richardson. She owned and operated Simplified Business Services and was a long time member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. For 8 ½ years Cecilia lived happily among her many friends at the Waterford Retirement Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Duane E. Dean and brother, Donald Richardson. Survived by her daughter, Barbara D. Roberts of Seattle, Wa., son, Edward R. Dean (Carole) of Dayton, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Richardson of Oakridge, Tenn., 5 grandchildren, Audrey, Claire and Dean (Rebecka) Roberts, Allan (Michele), and Casey (Linne) Dean and 13 great grandchildren. Cecilia was a interesting women I enjoyed her stories while fixing her hair the last 6 years, she will be missed, sincerly Carol Coleman and the girls at High-Lites.

We were sorry to hear of the departsure of a good friend,Kay and i spent a lot of time together at Waterford and tried to keep in contact by phone after we left Waterford.We really thought highly of her and will miss her. Our prayers be with her family. Jerry & Kay Eckert

It was a privilege to know Cecelia in the short time I have been at Waterford. I considered her as one of my good friends and table mate. We will all miss Cecelia and her smiling face. My sincere symapthy.
