Charles Broschart Obituary
Born in Dushore, PA on March 10, 1926, son of the late Bernard and Nell (Leahy) Broschart. He is the husband of the late Jane Elizabeth (Hourihan) Broschart.
Charles served in the US Navy and US Air Force and was honorably discharged. He retired from IBM Kingston as a Senior Associate in 1989. Following retirement he became an aircraft mechanic. In earlier years, some of his hobbies included sailboat building and piloting. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Galway and Sacred Heart Church in Esopus.
Survivors include his children, Mary Giarratano of Chapel Hill, NC, Patricia (Frank) Broschart Valenza of Ballston Spa and Michael (Suzanne) Broschart of Kirkville, NY, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Lawrence "Vernon" Broschart, Grace Broschart and Carl "Joseph" Broschart.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Richard J. Ryan Funeral Home, Inc., Galway. Mass will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Galway with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.

Always a soft spoken gentleman, Mr. Broschart (Charlie) was always kind. I enjoyed the time I spent in his home with his son Mike.
