DANIEL J. CONLEY Sr.

Daniel J. Conley, Sr., 80, of Glenville, died Friday, January 1, 2010, at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes. Daniel was born on March 11, 1929 in Lewiston, ME, to the late Daniel and Bertha Conley. Daniel formerly owned Conley Design, was past president of the Scotia-Glenville Lions Club, and was past commissioner of Beukendaal Fire Department. Daniel is survived by his wife, Sally Conley; four sons, Richard (Patricia) Conley of Glenville, William (Nanci) Conley of Murells Inlet, SC, Michael (Cheryl) Conley of Delanson, and Daniel (Patricia) Conley, Jr. of Glenville; two daughters, Doreen (Robb) Clemons of Scotia, and Julie (Ken) Rota of Las Vegas, NV. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his late grandchildren, Kristen Conley and Kelly Doherty. Funeral services will be held at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia, NY, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Memory's Garden Cemetery.
