I remember your father when we went to school Nott Terrace Elementary. After that we went to Washington Irving. He had a good time away he dealt with it. Eddie used to come to my house with little Eddie and they would watch wrestling every week. He was a great person to be around. I remember all of us at the Indian teepee campsite my grandson Louis an Big Ed stayed in the tent and little Ed and I went to the car because it was cold. Your dad was very proud of you he always spoke well of you and always thought you would get into the profession that you are in . Prayers to you and your family he will be missed greatly

We go way back to the 50's, They forgot to say Ed was a great Baseball player as well as a great Friend would run into him and we just knew what to say to each other, Remember when he bought his 1967 Corvette blue coupe big block and I bought his 1957 Chevy he worked hard for it. He always bragged apout his son the love of his life. Hey BUDDY I'll miss looking for you one of my true friends. Rocky Bonitatibus

I first met Eddie while he was living at The Children's Home on Park Avenue in Woodlawn. The obit was right--if you ever met him you did not ever forget him....Years later I met up with him through a high school friend of his.......In reading his obituary I see that he lived an amazing life --overcame adversity without losing himself. A great story!!! A great story! And anyone who knew him knew how much he loved and taught his son. "Fast" Eddie!! A great guy!!

I always called Eddie "Blue" because to me he had the most beautiful blue eyes I'd ever seen. We grew up in Lincoln Heights projects. I'll ALWAYS remember Eddie as a dear friend. Years separated us because I moved to Chicago
However when I returned to Schenectady and was walking down State Street, I heard someone calling my by my maiden name so I stopped and turned towards the sound. A white truck had pulled over. Tentatively I approached. It was my childhood friend. Eddie.
Rest in Peace BLUE.

I met Eddy while attending a summer camp hosted by the Salvation Army. I was 13 years old and we shared a room at the camp where we played pranks on other kids. Eddy and I got into a fight over a prank he played on me and we made up shortly afterwards. He was a tough kid but also loads of laughs. I never forgot that summer as I was living with my mom and 2 brothers in Yates Village constantly looking for ways to get into trouble. I think I saw Eddy a few times in High School and acknowledged each other but not much else. I remember him fondly as a good guy who had a lot of bad breaks. I'm glad to see he had a great second chance at life and made the best of it. God bless your family.
