Edward T. Chase Saratoga SpringsEdward T. Chase, 81, of Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Wesley Community. Born in Rotterdam, September 13, 1931 he was the son of the late Francis and Helen Chase. Ed worked as a welder for the General Electric Company for over 25 years. He was a member of the Kayaderosseras Fish and Game Club and the NRA. He enjoyed gardening, canning pickles and salsa. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Ed was predeceased by his great-grandson, Bentley Miner; four brothers, John, Leon, Frank and Joseph; and sister, Helen Gibson. Ed is survived by his wife of 59 years, Naomi Chase; his children, Thomas Chase of Ballston Spa, Sharon Davidson (Mike Nelson) of Wilton and Mark Chase (Toni) of Wilton; grandchildren, Kristen Chase, Kyle Flannery, Dustin Flannery, Britnie Minor (John), Tiffanie Chase, and Courtnie Chase. In accordance with Ed's wishes there will be no services.
