Ella Eastman Morris

Ella Eastman Morris EsperanceElla Eastman Morris, 95, passed away peacefully February 24, 2012 at the JFK Hospice Facility in Atlantis, FL. She was a long term resident of Esperance until 1972 when she and her husband Hank Morris moved to Florida. She had lived in Boynton Beach Florida since January 1977. Ella attended Beauty School and starting in 1943, she operated a beauty salon for several years in Esperance. She was more than a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In 1945, she and her husband, Floyd Eastman, founded Eastman's Cheese House in Esperance, NY. Survivors include her son, Neil Eastman, Richard Simpson (foster son), seven natural grandchildren, Julie, Jeff, Floyd, Brett, Scott, Amber, and Mark; along with several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her daughter Juanita Seales; her first husband, Floyd Eastman; and her second husband, Hank Morris all predeceased her. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, May 7th at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Schoharie, where visitation will be held prior from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will be at the Esperance Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ella's memory to the American Heart Association.
