Funeral Services for Mrs. Jean Lavon Brown McCloud, 82 Daytona Bch, who passed on March 30, 2016, will be 3 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at RJ Gainous Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8:30 PM, today, (Fri, Apr 8) at RJ Gainous Funeral Home and from 1:30 PM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday. Mrs. McCloud was born in Pine Bluff, AR on November 1, 1933. At an early age she accepted the gift of salvation. She was a 1951 graduate of Merrill High School where she sang in the choir, was a member of New Homemakers of America, and played basketball. She married the late Earnette Cannon shortly after graduating and later married, Willie McCloud and they were the parents of two sons. She was the manager of several apartment buildings in Detroit, MI and was an AVON representative. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Winnie Brown; son: Ray Carnell; brothers: Lee Jr., Bobby, Sr., Lloyd Donese; sisters: Jewel, and Jacqueline. She is survived by her son and caregiver, Craig McCloud (Kenye); 3 sisters: Frances Taylor(Robert), Betty Johnson, and Juanita Elliott(Willie); grandchildren: Rayshawn Gray, John Gray, Salina Gray, Craig Michael, II, James McCloud, Mesha McCloud, Aisha McCloud, Bianca McCloud, Selena Gray, Kyshun Watkins and Quianna Watkins; great grandchildren: Rylee Johnson, Craig McCloud, Shayvon Watkins, Rayshawn Gray, Jr., Tiana Gray, Bernard Gray, and Tyjay Snow; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends.
