Joseph K. Laczo

Joseph K. Laczo died peacefully in the early morning hours of September 30th, at the age of 54. He is being remembered as a "handyman" and "tinkerer," capable of building or fixing almost anything he set his mind to. Joseph had a career spanning over 30 years working for the Galesi Group, where he began as a junior officer. Well respected in his time there, he was considered a hard-working and consummate professional by all those who encountered him -- obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. He remained active in his free time, creating memories with close friends and family members. An avid sportsman, he was passionate about spending time outdoors. He was a selfless giver, extending generosities to friends, family, & strangers alike. He is survived by his brother, Dezsi Laczo Jr. (Linda Laczo)' nephews, Dezsi J. Laczo, & Adam R. Laczo (Lisa Laczo).  Calling hours will held Friday October 26th from 9 to 11 a.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam.
