Joseph Peter Torelli

Joseph Peter Torelli, 76, passed away on November 12, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Joe was born in Schenectady, NY, the son of the late Dominic and Carmella Torelli. He was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Joe was trained in the union for commercial plumbing and subsequently started his career locally working for many companies. He was an ardent fan of the NY Yankees and Giants. Joe met and married Antoinette Ciabotti on October 25, 2013 making their home in Schenectady. Joe was a born-again Christian who loved the Lord and read his bible, sharing the Word with anyone he met. Joe is survived by his wife, Antoinette; his daughter, Laura Chamberlain; his son, Pascal Torelli; his grandchildren, Brett, Elizabeth, Samantha, Rocky, Drew, and Dominic. Two brothers, Angelo and Gerald Torelli; as well as two great-grandchildren, also survive. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville, Pastor Paul Tebbano officiating.
