I started working for Marc in 1990 and helped him get his own firm up and running. In 1993 I left to pursue my career dreams in organized labor....something Marc supported. I stopped by the office a few times over the years and, life got busy and I lost touch. He popped in my head a few times over this past year and I was so shocked to see he had passed. Marc was always super to me, a consummate professional, a gentleman, and all about his family. What a loss. My sincerest condolences.

Hello my precious cousin! Meeting Marc at your (then) parents' home on Long Lake was a fun and joyous occasion I'll never forget. He cooked a fabulous meal and regaled us with a hilarious account of meeting you, your courtship, romantic honeymoon in Bali, mutual love of dance, and your dreams for the dance studio and home in Saratoga. His enthusiasm for life and appreciation for the arts was inspiring. I'm sorry he is gone and so sad for your grief. I am praying for you and the family.

Dear Beth, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Marc's passing. Teaching you both to dance together was a reqrding, funny and loving experience! Oh when he got the steps how happy he was! I will never forget the first day that you & Marc came into my life. You were walking past UPH and stopped to inquire what our show was. We chatted and I invited you to be my guests. The rest, as they say, is history! My lucky stars were shining upon me that day because we have been friends ever since. I am so grateful to have known Marc. He was the best of the best - positive, problem solver, guardian angel, comedian (!), and passionate chef. It has been my pleasure to know him and enjoy many good times together. Beth, I was profoundly shocked to hear of Marc's passing. It doesn't seem possible that one so young and so full of life could suddenly be gone. I will never forget the first time I stepped into your kitchen in my chef's coat to be Marc's sous chef for a UPH dinner. One look at his very ambitious menu and I was doubtful but of course, he pulled it off and the entire evening was perfect. I came away with tremendous admiration for Marc and with his secret veal stock recipe.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope that there is some solace for you in memories of Marc and of a life well lived.

We are deeply deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Marc's passing. The sudden news literally took my breath away.
Marc's spirit and energy represented life at its best. It was evident that he loved living life to the fullest.
His culinary skills were incredible and his passion for attempting the most challenging of dishes and preparing them with perfection was inspiring.
We've all enjoyed his story-telling and quick-witted sense of humor. He was never discouraged by things that seemed impossible but rather was attracted to the challenge of making them possible.
We've enjoyed witnessing the fulfillment Marc felt because of his grandchildren.
Bill and I are thankful to have been included in so many wonderful occasions in which we shared evenings filled with great food and lots of laughter.
We pray for him and for Beth and all members of the family and want you to know that we are here for you. Our hearts truly share your loss. We wish you God's peace.
