Marilyn R. Gotzmer Ballston SpaMarilyn R. Gotzmer, 78, of Knollwood Hollow Terrace died on Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY. She was born on November 20, 1935 in Glens Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late Rollin Sanford Ruggles and Martha Sweet Ruggles Marilyn had lived in Charlton, NY for 40 years and relocated to Ballston Spa, NY in 2007. She enjoyed a healthy career at Trustco Bank in Glenville, NY as a customer service manager. She was an active member of the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Glenville, NY. Marilyn had an unmatched love for alpine skiing, exercised a large appetite for being outdoors, and enjoyed long walks with friends in Charlton. She adored her loving dog, Wendee, an exceptional companion and energetic Beagle. A bottomless well of love and laughs is extended to her immediate neighbors, former neighbors, caregivers, and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Gotzmer, who died in 1989; loving mother of Russell K. Gotzmer of Vail, CO; and caring sister of Gilbert S. Ruggles of Leesburg, FL. A memorial celebration will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 547 Saratoga Rd., Glenville, NY 12302. There will be no calling hours.
