I want to express my sincere gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love for Michael. Over 300 "best" friends and family took the time to pay their respects on Saturday. I walked into that room with a huge hole in my heart, but listening to person after person tell stories of how Michael had made a positive difference in their lives, filled that hole.

I also want to thank Jim Gleason for tenderly and lovingly guiding my family through this difficult time.

My condolences to you and your family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Mike from Linton High School where he stood up for younger kids who were being picked on by the older kids. My wife worked with Mike at Glendale and he always walked them in at night and made sure they were safe. A great guy, he will be missed.

To Mike Egan´s family,
I just learned of the passing of Mike today I´m so sorry for your loss... Mike and I have known each other since Jr High at Central Park, he was one of my first friends at Central Park. We would walk home from school part way and share a soft drink and a slice of pizza from the corner store on the way home.
I must admit I did have a bit of a crush on him back then. We remained friends throughout High School at Linton hanging with some of the same crowd. I never forgot Mike and his infectious smile...The last time I saw Mike was probably at our first 10 year reunion. I had come in from Arizona with my husband where I introduced Mike to my husband Ernst. It was a lovely evening.
May you all find peace...
Best Wishes, Patricia Erikson

My condolences to Michael's life partner and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Michael always had the best Big smile when you saw him. In the 70's, in HS I remember his upbeat positive attitude. He had a kind spirit. He had a big heart. He was a lot of fun. He was always that friend to lift you up when you needed it most. I love this photo. A great person who won't be forgotten. God Speed! God bless his family and friends.

Michael was my son's best friend. 2 peas in a pod that talked daily...
They laughed and bonded over the joy in sports... Nic is the person he is due to his beloved PaPa... I hope we can overcome the tears by closing our eyes to remember the countless memories of our family adventures... Selfishly... I wish we all still had Michael here with us...

I was deeply saddened to learn of Mike's sudden passing.  We were varsity football teammates and fellow graduates at Linton High, and whenever we met up over the years since he would make it a point to share positive recollections and we would enjoy good laughs together. Recalling Mike always had a big heart and a welcoming way about him.  May God's strength and fond memories be with his family, and all his many friends, and loved ones during this time of loss and grief.

With sincere sympathy,
