Michael Lee Kittredge

Michael Lee Kittredge, 55, passed away after a long battle with liver cancer on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was the eldest son of Sonia Goudreau, and the late Lee Kittredge. Mike attended Guilderland Central High School, with the class of 1979. He was an avid lover of music, including Bluegrass, Grateful Dead, Reggae, and he also played the Mandolin and Banjo. Mike loved sports; his favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Orioles, and the L.A. Lakers. Mike is survived by his loving mother, Sonia; siblings, James (Rose) Kittredge, and Jennifer (Labeeb) Ismail; nieces, Stephanie (Brian) VanAlstyne, and Hazel Kittredge; nephew, Jonathan Kittredge; great-niece, Arabella Rose Kittredge; his beloved friend, Sue; along with many other loving friends. Mike was predeceased by his younger brother, Steven Scott Kittredge. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Schenectady. The burial will follow Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
