Paul Forte

Paul V. Forte Warminster, PA - Paul V. Forte, 82, passed away at home on April 9, 2024. Born on October 27, 1941, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette Forte, he was a 1959 graduate of Mechanicville High School and later received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson University in 1963.
Paul enjoyed a fulfilling career,accepting positions of increased responsibility at the public utility company Niagara Mohawk (now National Grid). He served as company spokesperson during the ice storm in 1991. After almost 35 years of service, he retired in 1997 as Regional General Manager in Watertown, NY. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Watertown and participated in other community organizations.
Paul was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Julianne (Spano) Forte. Paul and Julie enjoyed retirement in Stuart, Florida. They loved playing golf, eating out, taking cruises and going to shows in Las Vegas.
Survivors include his daughters Lisa (Shawn) Samperi, Lauren Forte and Leslie Forte and his grandchildren Joseph and Nicholas Samperi, his sister Irene (John) Coluzzaand their children Hillary and Craig (Demi) Coluzza.
Paul loved all sports. He was an avid golfer and a diehard Yankees fan. His favorite time of year was August when he could visit family and go to the Saratoga racetrack.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 20 at All Saints on the Hudson(St. Paul's) Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville, NY from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m., followed by burial in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery.
