Richard L. Dickert

Richard L. Dickert, 84, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Richard was the son of the late Frederick Charles and Florence (Fiato) Dickert. Richard was the loving husband to the late Marilyn (Bender) Dickert. Richard was an Albany Fireman for 42 years, he loved spending summers with his family boating and vacationing on Lake George, spending time with his beloved grandchildren at any chance he had, visiting with friends, sitting by the pool and spending time with his dogs. Richard is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Denise) Dickert; step-sons, Bruce Hofmann and Charles (Jennifer) Hofmann; his grandchildren Catherine, Nolan and Mason Dickert, Jessica and Nicole Hofmann; sibling, Tom(Camie)Dickert; nieces and nephews Shelley Mueller, Robin Mueller, Erica Mueller, Paul Mueller and Tom Dickert Jr. along with many other loving family and friends including longtime friend Rose Dolan. Along with his loving wife, Marilyn and his parents, Richard is predeceased by his loving sister Rita Mueller. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Friday January 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date determined by the family.
