ANDREW HANEY Obituary

LAKE ZURICH - Andrew Haney, 42, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Andy grew up in Lake Zurich, IL, a town he loved and never left. Andy graduated from Lake Zurich High School in 1999 and went on to obtain a teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University. Andy worked for the family business, JAM Electric for 19 years. He loved fishing, good music, and cooking. Andy will be dearly missed and always remembered. Andy is survived by his siblings, Jeferey (Trina) Haney, Michael (Angel) Haney and Carrie (Kevin) Lind; and his nieces and nephews, Cassie Haney, Avery and Blake Haney and Demi, Iver and Mara Lind. Andy was predeceased by his parents, Rob and Marcia (Cooper) Haney; his grandparents, Werner and Mary (Klasen) Haney and Marcus and Deloris (nee White) Cooper; and his uncle, Paul Haney. Andy requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Andy's loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Lake Zurich Legion on Saturday, September 30 at 2pm.

I am so very sorry for Andy´s passing. I still remember him as a little boy in our neighborhood growing up. He was a very sweet little boy & very curious! I´m sure that Rob & Marcia had a big welcoming home celebration for him in heaven! To his family on earth, I send love & prayers. Hugs, Toni Norman
