Anne Marie Lovestrand, age 88, of Willow Lake Estates, Elgin passed away on Tuesday evening, May 1, 2018 surrounded by her family. Anne was born on August 10, 1929 in Chicago and was the daughter of the late John and Marie McHugh. Survivors include her husband of 16 years; Dave. Her children; Dale Ann (Liz) Columbus, John (Lynn) Columbus, Steven (Laura) Columbus, Kathy (Tom) Shimizu, James Columbus and Brian (Tim) Columbus. Other survivors include her stepsons; John (Sandra) and Christopher (Tracy) Lovestrand. Her 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her sisters; Kathleen Miller and Patricia (Ray) Peele as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her daughter; Carmella Columbus and her stepsons; Mark and Michael Lovestrand. Family and Friends will gather for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Elgin. Private family burial will be at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to JourneyCare Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
