ANTOINETTE DAKER Obituary

HOFFMAN ESTATES - Antoinette Catherine "Toni" Daker, 90 years, was a caring mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and friend. She left this world for her eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 6, 2024. She was born to Peter M. and Catherine M. Jung on January 11, 1934, in Chicago. After high school, she married Raymond R. Daker. They settled in her lifetime home in Hoffman Estates. Together, they had 4 children. Later, Antoinette earned her RN license. She worked for 22 years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Holy Family Hospital. Much of Antoinette's life was creative. She was talented and prolific at each of her pursuits. She sewed, quilted, drew, painted, made pottery. Antoinette was known for her intelligence, spunk, wit and humor. She is survived by her four children, Michael (Maureen), Christine Malin (Ed Siena), Doreen Rasmussen (Tom) and Daniel (Cathy); her 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with 2 more on their way. She will be missed.

May your hearts & minds be comforted in God´s grace. Your mom always had encouraging & inspirational words for me. I always looked forward to talking and visiting with her at family gatherings. I loved hearing about her travels and projects she was doing. May she rest and rejoice with her Savior.
