BEVERLY J. ZAPFEL

MOUNT PROSPECT - Beverly J. Zapfel, nee Lawless, 92, passed away peacefully in her home, on Sept. 18. She was happily married for over 50 years to the late Raymond H. Zapfel. She is survived by her children; John R. Zapfel (Mount Prospect), Marianne (Kevin) McGuire (Lombard), and David Zapfel (McHenry) and grandsons; Robert, Daniel, Byron, Andrew, Ryan and Michael. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Oct. 22, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mount Prospect. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. and the service begins at 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association, The Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club or St. Mark Church would be appreciated.
