I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you and your family. I never met Carter. I heard about him through a friend who lives in Huntley. I think of him every day and I think of Bowen. I have three boys of my own.I cannot imagine explaining something like that to any of them. I will pray for you and I know Carter will be guiding his brother in his own way. May he giggle and play until he sees you again.

My condolences to you and your family at this very rough time in your lives. I work with Renee Walker and she told me so many amazing stories about Carter. He was wise beyond his years and made a difference in so many peoples lives. May his memory always be a shining star in yours.

Be blessed knowing how much joy Carter brought to so many around him, especially to his lil' brother, Bowen, who looked up to him. Carter is no longer suffering. He is not throwing one nor two but 3 strikes you're out at the ole ballgame! His courage, unconditional love and patience will be a lesson to us all. You have tremendous strength and your family unit is unparalleled. Know how much you are in our thoughts and hearts. Know how much you are loved.

My family and I extend our condolences on the loss of Carter and we are truly inspired by the HOPE that Carter has provided to so many people in their every day lives. I enjoyed reading the updates, although many of them brought me to tears - I always felt the positive that Carter was trying to convey. God Bless Carter Kettner and thanks for letting us have him if only for a little while. Carter you will be missed tremendously.

Cinnamon, Joe, Bowen and the entire Kettner family......there are no words to describe what you are going through. I only met Carter once and he was so strong and he kept being strong for as long as he could. You are the strongest parents that I have ever had the chance to meet. There are no words. I am so sorry for your loss. Carter was an amazing little boy with a heart of gold. Although I never had the priviledge of meeting him, I feel as though I've known him his whole life. Thank you for sharing his journey with all of us. Heaven is very lucky to have him. He will be missed by all.

My name is Cheryl Walker and my grandaughter Taylor is dating Jeremy Barker. Taylor has spoken so often of Carter that I felt I knew this little guy. She loved how he always made everyone smile and his laugh was so special to her. She cherishes the kisses from him and prayed often for good health for Carter. He is with God now and I feel blessed to know that he touched so many lives with his super sized heart and beautiful smile!

My ex Husband and a bunch of his friends/co workers rode for Carters charity, a few weeks back, and passing that little boy by his house, my ex said there were many bikers wiping away tears! Carter touched the lives of many who did not know him!! May he rest in Peace! Thoughts and Prayers to you all!

Dear Mr & Mrs Kettner,
My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Although we have never met before, my co-worker Tracy Kirby told me about your son and gave updates on Carter. I was very sad to hear of his passing but he is in a better place now, no more pain or suffering. He's making alot of new friends and watching over his family & friends.
