Charles Koeppen Obituary

Charles A. Koeppen a 30-year resident of West Chicago Services for Charles A. Koeppen, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Born Dec. 14, 1920, in Chicago, where he was also raised, he died Friday, July 7, 2006, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Charles served in the Army during World War II. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret B.; loving father of Charles (Dawn), Peggy (Bob) Miller and Karl (Kathy) Koeppen; devoted grandfather of nine; fond great-grandfather of nine; and brother of Virginia (Joe) Mannina and James (Nora).
