CHARLES WELEBA Obituary

Charles L. Weleba of St. Charles The funeral service for Charles L. Weleba, 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St. (Route 38), Geneva, with Father Bernard Schaefer officiating. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Ill. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Malone Funeral Home, Geneva. Born Sept. 8, 1930, in Chicago, the son of Karl and Agnes (Pluhar) Weleba, he passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Rosewood Health Care Center in St. Charles. Charles worked for many years for Anderson Masonry Restoration and was a longtime member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Union 21-IL. He is survived by his children, Janice (Phil) Falson of Apple Canyon Lake, Ill., Chuck Weleba of Wood Dale, Michael (Karen) Weleba of Downers Grove and Margaret Marovich of St. Charles; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary (Ray) Wenc of Naperville. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edith Bagley; and his wife, Marilyn. For information, 630-232-8233 or visit malonefh.com.
