DAVID A. SCHNIZLEIN

1953 - 2014

LOMBARD - David A. Schnizlein passed away March 7, 2014 at the age of 60. He was born Oct. 22, 1953 in Joliet, the third child of J. Glenn and Rody (Dorenkemper) Schnizlein. David earned the rank of Eagle Scout and attended Aurora University. David married Kim Ann Thomas on May 10, 1974 and they raised 2 fine sons: Jason and Jeremy. David and Roxanne Dale shared a loving 15 year committed relationship, and were active in Church Choirs. He enjoyed fishing, collecting ,selling and buying coins and other items. David is survived by Roxanne and his 2 sons Jason (Jenna) and Jeremy and their mother Kim; 2 grandchildren Alaina, Noah; 6 siblings Kay A. Schnizlein of Phoenix AZ, John M. (Ris) of Fort Washington MD, Paul G. of Austin TX, Bruce D. (Beth) of Pecatonica IL, Brian E. (Barb) of Saint Paul MN, and Rita M. (Larry) Pillman of Austin TX. Survivors also include 11 nephews and 3 nieces and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ray A. We are having a "Celebration of Life" for David on May 25th at Christ the King Church 1501 S. Main St. Lombard From 3-7PM.
