I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Bill, who was a wonderful man, excellent attorney, and such a gentleman. He carried me through a very rough part of my life, as my attorney. He was such a kind man, and I always think of him as a friend. Everytime I spoke with him he told me about his sons of whom he was so proud. I wish I would have known of his passing at the time and been able to support the family at the services for him. The world lost a truly good man when Bill passed away.

I have not seen Bill since 1955, when we graduated from the 8th grade. I have remembered him over the years and was always impressed with how intelligent he was. To his family, I'm sorry for your loss.

I am stunned and deeply grieved to learn of the loss of my life-long friend. I wish I had words to express the sadness. Our last conversation was around how hopeful he was for a successful kidney transplant. Never once, over the years, did Bill ever fail to mention his love for and pride in his sons. I join them in carrying the memory of a very fine, outstanding man and great friend with me, always. My deepest sympathies go out to them and Bill's dear sisters.

As a good friend, I express my deepest condolences to Bill's family and friends. I've had the pleasure of knowing Bill for several years now, and from his trumpet playing to his vast knowledge of law, he will be truly missed. Rest in peace my good friend.
