FRANK J. MICHELKAMP

1937 - 2021

Frank J. Michelkamp, 83, returned home to His Lord on May 27, 2021. The son of Jacob Michelkamp and Bernice (Miczek) Michelkamp, was born on November 22, 1937, in Chicago. There were many things Frank enjoyed doing, hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. He was a member of the Maywood Sports Club for most of his life. He founded F & F Machine Automation in 1969 and Clesco Polish in 1986. He and Cherie operated and Managed F & F until his retirement in 2002. Clesco Polish continues operation. His greatest passion was his family. He married the love of his life Cherie (Ternstrom) on February 7, 1959. Frank spent 64 + years loving and cherishing one person, his beautiful wife Cherie. Their love and bond is eternal, there was nothing more precious to him than her and his four children. Victoria O'Dea, Frank Michelkamp (Diane), Cheri D. Michelkamp and Annette (Muzikoski (Boge). He watched his family grow to add 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He taught them all the most important rule in life..."Family, first and foremost, because they were the only ones that are forever." He was preceded in death by his daughter Cherie D. Michelkamp, who passed away earlier this year. A Celebration of Frank and his daughter Cherie's life will be held jointly on June19, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E.
