Gladys E. LaForge of Mundelein A Mass of Christian burial for Gladys E. LaForge (nee Anderson), 89, is 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein, Ill. Visitation is one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery. She was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Jamestown, N.D., and died May 22, 2012, at The Ponds in Lincolnshire. Gladys moved from North Dakota to Ironwood, Mich., to Mundelein. She was a Den Mother and active with Cub Scouts and active in a women's prayer group. She was also a seamstress for many dance recitals. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe LaForge Sr.; loving children, Joe (Louise Dube') LaForge Jr. and Mary (William DeMarco) LaForge; grandchildren, Michelle (Jim Alva) Blasius, Christina (Brent) Breithaupt; and great-grandchildren, Emelia and Wesley. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Col. Wesley Anderson and June Little John. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 8430 W.
