Henry Offman Obituary

Henry J. Offman of Arlington Heights for 19 years Prayers for Henry J. Offman, 83, will be said at 9 a.m. Thursday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born Dec. 1, 1920, in Radisson, Wis., the son of Anthoni and Nellie Offman, he died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Mr. Offman was a retired inspector working for Seeburg Corp. in Chicago for 20 years. He was active in the American Legion, and was a member of BACA Concertina Club and CCC Concertina Club. Henry was the husband for 56 years of Josephine (nee Noga) of Arlington Heights; father of Lawrence Offman of Evanston, Russell (Renee Rudnicki) Offman of Wheeling and Janice (Michael) Offman Milde of Cary; grandfather of Ryan Rudnicki Offman of Wheeling; and brother of Eleanor Kubik of Walworth, Wis. and the late Florence Kreminski. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. For information‚ (847)253-5423.

As a member of the Cicero Concertina Circle, and BACA, I had the privlege of Hank's friendship for the last two years. Hank and his concertina playing will be missed.

We are Members with Hank at the Cicero Concertina Circle.



He loved the Concertina and was a great musician. I always enjoyed playing with him during our jam sessions at the club.



We will sure miss him.
