Jack Kinnaman Obituary

Jack Kinnaman of Bensenville Interment for Jack Kinnaman will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Grand and County Line Road, Elmhurst. A gathering will follow at the Kinnaman residence. Born Feb. 18, 1920, in Dayton, Ohio, he died Monday, June 11, 2007. Jack and his wife, Betty Jean Kinnaman (nee Hunt), who passed away in 2004, were residents of Bensenville for over 80 years. Mr. Kinnaman was the founder and retired owner of Tri-County Trenching, in business for over 50 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and member of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his children, Ryan of Elkhorn, Wis., Jackie of Lombard, Kim of Oakwood Hills, Ill., Darlene of Bensenville and Jack E. of Bensenville; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

We only met Jack and Betty a few times when they would walk Molly out in front of the house, but they were both very sweet people.
