John Christopher Rowinski, 51, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Wheaton, Illinois and Connecticut, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2021, with his wife and family by his side after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born March 19, 1970 in Bridgeport, CT to John and Judy (DeLibro) Rowinski. He was a 1988 graduate of Wheaton North High School and a 1992 graduate of Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Sands), formerly of St. Charles, IL; his parents, John and Judy Rowinski; sisters, Leigh Anne Rowinski and Jamie Rowinski, all of Cheshire, CT; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. CH DeLibro and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rowinski, all of CT. John met Barbara, his soulmate, in 1999, while working at GE Capital in Barrington, IL, married in 2005 and made each other laugh every day. He will be remembered for his love of his wife, family, friends, fishing, beaches, his dogs, and his sense of humor. John, you will be missed and will always be in our hearts. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In memory of John, you can make a donation to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
