Joseph C. Clements of Elgin Family and friends of Joseph C. Clements, 60, will meet for a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton St., Palatine. Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Born Dec. 11, 1947, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Joseph was the beloved husband of Suzanne for six years; loving father of Joey (Kim) Clements, Krista (Paul) Kearns, Laura (John) Carpenter, Cynthia (Dan) Traver and Jodi Grant; cherished grandfather of Timothy Grant, Tyler Carpenter, Paul Kearns, Samantha Carpenter, Madelyn Kearns, Morgan Traver, Marissa Clements and Mia Traver; dearest son of Ada (nee Cintron) and the late Joseph M. Clements; dear brother of Susan (Keith) Decker, Joan (Dan) Barsotti, Michael (Susan) Clements, Patricia (Fred) Jarosh and Vicky (Dave) Grau; fond uncle of 19 and great-uncle of seven.
