ELK GROVE VILLAGE - Judith Ann Cullen passed away on December 1, 2020. She was born in 1944 in Chicago and grew up in Logan Square. She attended Our Lady of Grace Elementary School, The Immaculata High School, and Mayfair Jr. College. Judy's career was in the airline industry with Pan Am and United. She enjoyed singing with the Edgewater Singers and volunteered for Alexian Brothers Hospital, public radio and television, and the Democratic party, among others. Preceding her in death were her parents, Matthew J. Cullen and LaVerne (nee McGough) Cullen; Judy's brother, Matthew J. Cullen; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Cross Cullen; and brother-in-law, Patrick Gueny. Judy is survived by her sister, Ellen Marie Gueny, Paris, France; seven nieces and nephews; eighteen grandnieces and grandnephews; and many dear friends. Judy will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and enthusiasm for life. Memorials may be made to Camp Awesum, UCCI, via web site or sent to UCCI Camps, W1010 Spring Grove, Ripon, WI 54971. Mass is set for Tuesday, December 15, 10 a.m., St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church, Elk Grove Village followed by prayer at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Evanston at noon. Mass will be livestreamed on the church's web site https://www.stjulianeymard.org/. Arrangements are being handled by Grove Memorial Chapel.
