It is hard to believe that it has been 14 years since you left us. There are times it feels like it was 14 days ago, or 14 weeks ago, or 14 months ago or 14 life times ago. Whoever said "Time heals all wounds" never met a person like Julie, because I know this is one wound I will have with me until I see her again.

Julie was one in a million. When God made her, he broke the mold. I have never met a more beautiful person, both on the inside and the outside, as her. She made me a better person by just knowing her. And I can honor her memory by continuing to live my life to the fullest, as she would have wanted me to. I had only known Julie a short time, but in that time I knew her, she made a lasting impression on me and I know I will never forget her or how she made me feel. There are only a handful of people that come into your life that touch you in a way that makes such an impression, and I regret that I was unable to convey this to Julie before she passed. In closing, I would like to share one of my favorite quotes from Dr. Seuss: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” It’s just hard trying to smile through the tears.

Julie added some spice to our MS Office Applications 2010 class. I'll miss her contributions to the class.
