Kathleen A. "Kathy" Jacobs of West Dundee Kathleen A. "Kathy" Jacobs, 59, passed away on Sunday evening, surrounded by her family at the Provena-St.Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Kathy was born in Oak Park, IL on Aug. 25, 1953. She was a resident of the Dundee area for the past 20 years and a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee. Survivors include her husband of almost 38 years, Carl A., they married on Oct. 5, 1974; their children, Michelle (Brian) Leach, Carl Jr. and Christine Jacobs; her grandson, Nicholas; and her mother, Anna Spacek Nancolas. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Leonard I. Nancolas; and her brother, Leonard I. Nancolas Jr. Family and friends will gather for funeral services on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. in the Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary. Entombment will follow. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
